Amazing artwork on Palestine shown in all its forms!

Palestine Expo hosted a variety of Palestinian artists. Exploring themes of beauty, hope, children of Gaza, life under occupation. There was over 70 metres of tapestry stitched by Palestinian women. This was the first time all 94 panels were displayed in its original form.

Over 70 metres of beautifully detailed tapestry pieces stitched by Palestinian women. This Palestinian History Tapestry collection illustrated Palestine from Neolithic times to current day. History was made, as this as the first time all 94 original panels were displayed.

A breathtaking collection of pieces on Palestine from artists: Rich Wiles, Hamde Abu Rahma, Hiba Yassine, Emerson Utracik, Israel Zohar, Beesan Arafat and Malah Mattar. Themes explored were: Beauty, Hope, Children of Gaza, Whitewashing Apartheid, Everyday Occupation, Family.

Street Art

Attendees looked down from the mezzanine, to a live graffiti masterpiece of a Bird (representing freedom) made up of geometric shapes (shape of PalExpo) in Palestinian colours.

Live Art

The talented Farrah Azam left crowds looking closer as she drew the Palestinian flag and map in henna inspired patterns.

Real Olive tree sculpture

A showstopper. Palestinian artist, Khaled Jarrar’s concrete and olive tree trunk sculpture Olive Tree was a fan favourite.
